Wyoming State Flower Coloring
Wyoming's State Flower is the beautiful Indian Paintbrush. I used to see lots of Indian Paintbrush all the time in Texas growing in the middle of the Bluebonnet fields where its Red color made the Blue fields look even more Blue. They bloom from April to June. The Indian Paintbrush is a semi-parasitic plant; that attaches to the tubes of host plants by their roots. Indian Paintbrushes suck the nutrients and water from the host plants. For this reason and the fact that they are not even that common in Wyoming, many people did not want Indian Paintbrush as the State Flower, but by vote it was selected anyway. They are very Red so color them accordingly.
