The White Hawthorn Blossom is a beautiful White flower of the Hawthorn plant which grows up to 25 feet long and is related to Roses. After the blossoms the shrub produces a little fruit that looks like a tiny Apple and is edible. 

In fact wildlife of many kinds eat the Hawthorn fruit, and many people like to make jam or jelly from it. It also has medicinal uses. 

The Hawthorn plant grows all over Missouri and provides shelter and shade for animals too. There are many varieties of White Hawthorn, and they all have White flowers. 

It is said that there are at least 75 different types of Hawthorn plants in Missouri. They bloom in May generally.
